Dogs

- Dogs over 12 months who are due for a DA2PP vaccine booster can get the booster on the day of surgery for $20, but we recommend your dog be fully vaccinated with DA2PP, Bordetella, and Rabies before surgery.
- Dogs must arrive on a leash.
- No meet-and-greets during check-in.
- Bring a clean bath-sized towel or blanket that can get dirty.
- Keep your dog in an air-conditioned car (if your car can lock from the outside) to reduce stress.
- No food after 10pm the night before surgery, water is okay. Feed one tablespoon of food the morning of surgery to puppies younger than 4 months of age.
- We are fully booked for larger female dog breeds, small female dogs, and brachycephalic breeds. If you’re interested, we can add you to our waitlist. Please note that wait times vary.

Cats (Friendly/Owned)
- We recommend (not required) that your cat be fully vaccinated with FVRCP before surgery.

- If your cat is found to have fleas on the morning of surgery, it is mandatory they receive a $15 oral flea treatment. This treatment kills adult fleas only and is necessary to protect our staff and prevent fleas from entering the incision site. Please note - oral flea treatment only kills adult fleas, not the eggs. Without topical flea prevention, the eggs will hatch within 24 hours. We can apply topical flea prevention and administer oral flea prevention in the clinic.

- Oral+topical flea prevention (kills eggs) + dewormer (recommended): $45
-
- We are fully booked for brachycephalic breeds. If you're interested, we can add you to our waitlist. Please note that wait times vary.
There is an additional $50 charge if your pet is in heat, pregnant, or cryptorchid.
Community (Feral) Cats
- Cats must arrive in a humane cat trap, secured with zip ties on both ends.
- Cover the trap with a sheet or towel, and line the inside with newspaper.
- Keep your community cat in the trap in an air-conditioned car (if your car can lock from the outside) to reduce stress.
- These cats are wild and cannot be handled safely, so traps are required.
- Cats will receive an ear notch at surgery — a universal sign that the cat has been spayed/neutered.
- Only pain injections are provided on the day of surgery; no pain meds or e-collars will go home.
- Clients may bring a maximum of two trapped cats per day.
- Do not trap a cat before receiving an appointment confirmation or more than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.
- Please select here for TNR tips and tricks for successful trapping.
- There is an additional $50 charge if your pet is in heat, pregnant, or cryptorchid.
